What Mophead Dog Grooming got
Mophead Dog Grooming is a four-groomer salon off the Belconnen town centre, opened by Robyn Ellery in 2016 on one rule: the dog decides when a groom stops, and the owner pays for what was done. Robyn and Tahlia do the clipping and hand-scissor finishing, Marcus runs the double-coat de-shedding work, and Nadia covers the front desk, the bath and every puppy introduction, on top of taking bookings. Only two dogs are in the salon at once and nothing goes under a cage dryer, which is the point of the…
The system behind it
Chair & Deposit Beyond the three agents, it adds deposits on the booking itself, gift vouchers sold online, and rebooking nudges timed per service, which is exactly the four-week wash, six-week tidy-up, twelve-week… Open the working demo→The agents
- Receptionist Agent Basic answers every call and message before 7:30am, after 4:30pm, Saturday afternoon and all Sunday, when a caller today reaches voicemail and waits until the next working day. It books straight into the calendar or takes a proper message, and still escalates anything urgent to a real person. Wired to /book. Nadia opens Monday to a filled diary, not a stack of calls to return.
- Appointment Setter Professional runs the booking end to end: a customer picks their own slot instead of waiting on Nadia's next-morning callback, SMS reminders go out ahead of every long full-groom booking to protect the slot against the twenty-four-hour cancellation window, and reschedules are handled in chat rather than by phone. Wired to /book. A cancelled table gets offered to a waitlist instead of sitting empty.
- FAQ Assistant Basic is trained on the thirteen questions the site already answers in writing: pricing ranges by size and coat, the cage-dryer policy, cancellation terms, parking, anxious and aggressive dogs, and why cats are not taken on. Wired to /faq and /pricing. Whoever is at the desk, mid-bath or mid-puppy-visit, stops fielding the same dozen questions between jobs.
Kept running on the Website + Custom Agent plan, with the agents scoped and quoted per workflow.

The film is one part of it. The website, the system behind the bookings, the agents and the first month of social were all built from the same brief, and the whole suite is quoted up front after a needs assessment.
