Websites for tradies,
built in Brisbane.
A tradie's website has one job: turn a phone-in-hand visitor into a booked quote. Built fast, mobile-first, and priced up front.
Short answer: a tradie's website needs to load fast on a phone, make it obvious how to call or request a quote, and show real work and service areas. Automated Australia builds Brisbane tradie websites from $1,499 for a five-page Premium site, or $2,499 for a Bespoke build with a dominant hero experience. Both are fixed prices, with SEO and accessibility checks included before handover.
What does a tradie need from a website?
Most enquiries for a trade business happen fast, on a phone, often from a job site or the car. The site has to make the next step obvious in seconds, not bury it in a menu.
- Click-to-call, everywhere. A phone number that's tappable from the header, the hero and the footer, not just listed on a contact page three clicks deep.
- A quote or enquiry form that's quick to fill in. Job type, suburb, a couple of photos if relevant, and a way to follow up. Not a ten-field form that gets abandoned halfway through.
- Service areas stated plainly. Which suburbs and regions you actually cover, so an out-of-area enquiry doesn't waste anyone's time.
- Licence and insurance shown clearly. A trade licence number and insurance status, visible where a cautious homeowner will actually look for it, not buried in the footer's fine print.
- Reviews where people can see them. A link through to your existing Google reviews, embedded or clearly signposted. Never fabricated testimonials or invented review counts.
- A Google Business Profile that matches the site. Same name, phone number and address everywhere, so Google, and the customer, trusts both.
- Genuine mobile speed. Most trade enquiries start on a phone with patchy reception on-site. A slow page loses the job before it even loads.
None of this is exotic. It is the difference between a website that quietly loses enquiries and one that turns a Saturday-morning search into a booked job on Monday.

Choose Premium for a straightforward site built from a proven layout, with your services, your service areas and a clear way to get in touch. Choose Bespoke if the brief needs an original hero composition, a before-and-after gallery interaction, or a custom quote-request flow shaped around a specific trade. More pages alone do not make a site Bespoke, and a booking integration alone is an addition rather than a tier upgrade.
Built for how tradies actually get found
Winning the job starts before the phone rings. These are the three things that most affect whether a tradie's site actually converts a search into an enquiry.
Mobile speed (most enquiries happen from a job site, on a phone)
Every build goes through mobile, accessibility and SEO checks before handover. That means real attention to page weight and load time on a phone connection, not just a desktop preview that looks good in the office. A gallery of finished jobs is worth nothing if the images are so heavy the page never finishes loading on a work van's data plan.
Quote-request and booking flow
Premium includes one standard enquiry form or a link to your existing booking system. Bespoke goes further with a complete enquiry or booking journey, including clear request and confirmation states, so a visitor knows their quote request actually went through instead of wondering if it vanished into a broken form.
Local SEO basics baked in
Every site ships with the SEO checks built into our process: clean page structure, proper headings, fast load times and correct local business details that match your Google Business Profile. For ongoing search visibility, local ads and social content beyond the base build, see Growth.
Which trades this suits
The build approach works for any Brisbane trade that lives or dies on phone enquiries and quote requests: plumbers, electricians, builders and renovators, landscapers, painters, roofers, air conditioning and refrigeration techs, and specialist trades like glaziers or solar installers. If your work involves a licence number, a service area and a customer deciding who to call in the next five minutes, the same structure applies.
If your trade is not listed here, that does not rule it out. The underlying job of the website (clear services, a fast way to get in touch, proof of real work) is the same whether you are quoting kitchen renovations or emergency callouts. Tell us the trade during a free assessment and we will tell you plainly which tier fits.
Why this matters more for a tradie than most businesses
A retail shop or a café gets a second chance: a customer who has a bad first visit can still walk past next week and try again. A tradie's website usually only gets one shot per enquiry. Someone has a leak, a fault or a job that needs quoting today, searches on their phone, and picks from whoever answers fastest and looks credible enough to trust in their home. A site that loads slowly, buries the phone number, or looks the same as ten competitors loses that moment permanently, not just delays it.
That is why the build priorities for a tradie site are narrower and more practical than for a lot of other small businesses: speed, a visible phone number, clear service areas and licence details, and proof of real completed work. Everything else on the site should support those four things, not compete with them.
