What Barometer Hair Co. got
Barometer Hair Co. is a five chair hair salon on the Paddington ridge, run by Marisa Teague since 2017 around one idea: a cut or colour only counts if it survives the walk to the car in Brisbane humidity. Marisa cuts four days a week, Bec runs colour and correction work, Anh does the smoothing treatments, Kai is a third-year apprentice, and Jules keeps the diary. The salon trades Tuesday to Saturday only, closed Monday and Sunday, with Thursday running late to 8:00pm; anything outside those hours goes to voicemail…

- Appointment Setter Professional Runs booking end to end on /book: self-serve times, the $50 deposit collected at the time of booking on every colour, smoothing or 90-minute-plus service, SMS reminders, reschedules handled in chat under the 48 hour policy, and freed slots offered to a waitlist. Also books the two-week smoothing tension check and the seven-day adjustment automatically, instead of Jules tracking them by hand.
- Receptionist Agent Basic Every call and message on Monday, Sunday and after hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, when the salon is currently voicemail-only. Answers hours and price ranges, books straight into /book, or takes a proper message for Marisa.
- Quote Intake Agent Professional Gathers colour history, current condition and photos before a colour correction or humidity smoothing consultation, wired to /services/colour-correction and /services/humidity-smoothing. Bec or Anh walk into the strand test with a scoped picture already assembled, instead of finding out mid-consultation whether the job is one visit or three.
