Sunbird Early Learning is a 74 place long day care and kindergarten on a quiet Edge Hill street in Cairns, run by Renae Callaghan and Josh since 2016, with an approved kindergarten program taught by a registered teacher inside the long day. Every enquiry still runs through Renae by phone: "ring Renae and she will tell you which days are actually open" is the honest line the centre gives families, because room vacancy changes week to week. - Receptionist Agent Basic Every call and message from 6:30pm to 6:30am on weekdays and all weekend, when the centre is currently voicemail-only. Answers hours and fee basics, books straight into the 9:30am or 4pm tour slot on /enrol, or takes a proper message; anything urgent still reaches Renae directly.
- Appointment Setter Professional The two daily tour slots end to end, self-serve booking, confirmation and SMS reminder, wired to /enrol. Also offers a place that frees up to the next family on the waitlist the moment a day changes or a family leaves, instead of Renae working the list by hand room by room.
- Onboarding Assistant Professional The paperwork run between a written offer and day one, wired to /guides/child-care-subsidy: enrolment form, health record, immunisation statement, medical management plans, emergency contacts, and chasing the myGov confirmation so Child Care Subsidy actually pays. Also books the two orientation visits.
