The Atelier

We believe that every thread holds a story, and every pattern carries the soul of its maker.

Founded in Jaipur's ancient textile quarter by Priya Mehra and carried across to Melbourne's design district, Mandala bridges two worlds of craftsmanship. Our studio draws from centuries of South Asian weaving tradition, reinterpreting geometric mandalas, folk motifs and floral lattices through a contemporary lens. Each bolt of fabric, each wallpaper roll, each bespoke commission begins with slow observation: the way morning light catches a silk warp, the way a geometric repeat breathes across a loom. We design for rooms that hold memory — and for clients who understand that beauty, at its deepest, is always structural.
